How Is Sociology Issues in Society?

How Is Sociology Issues in Society?Sociology issues in society must be addressed to ensure that the right social policy is implemented to address problems. The Social and Behavioral Sciences field is sometimes called the social sciences. Sociology is a scientific discipline that focuses on how people interact, organize and perform in society. The sociological questions are as broad as any scientific one. The four main sociological questions are: what makes people act; what forces individuals to make choices; what determines the course of social change; and how do individuals interact with one another. In the past, sociology was the first field that dealt with the individual or social being. It focused primarily on behavior and its internal mechanics. Sociology has always been considered a field of social interaction rather than strictly a science or study of behavior.Today there are four major areas of social and sociological issues. These areas include issues of race, gender, class, and ethnicity. They also include those issues that involve dealing with the environment such as development, war, poverty, ethnic discrimination, education, and technology.Sociology has many faces. Sociologists have a number of viewpoints which they utilize in their work. In fact, the social sciences are interdisciplinary. They do not specialize in any one area, but rather the whole field can be explored. The problem of the existence of sociology as a discipline has been recognized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The AAAS recognizes seven areas that fall under the realm of sociology. Sociology is concerned with interrelations between culture, society, economics, politics, and gender.Sociological field deals with the interaction between society and the individual, with society and nature, with society and power, and with humankind. Sociology has no boundary and can be divided into many sub-fields like bio-social sciences, the history of sociology, bu siness and organizational studies, history of ideas, communication studies, and the cognitive sciences.Through the years, sociology has found its way into a new category of humanistic social science, that is mainly influenced by the popular interest in the world today. Sociology is both social and personal, which is the very core of the discipline. Today, people who study sociology are not restricted to studying individuals but can also investigate the society, history, culture, and economics.
